Rang a 6 cooked a delicious meal, consisting of pasta (made from scratch) and home made pesto. A fantastic experience for all.

Rinne Naíonáin Bheaga sár jab ag cur gliondar agus dathanna inár gclós inniu in ainneoin na báistí is na haimsire ghruama !!!

Naíonáin bheaga did a great job adding colour and brightness to our “am lóin” outside today despite the rather grey & gloomy weather!!

Bhí Rang a hAon ag bácáil inné.
Dheineadar arán donn agus im. 🍞🧈
Bhíodar ag méa, ag tomhais, ag meascadh agus ag croitheadh.

Tar éis na hoibre ar fad, bhaineadar sult as ‘bheith á n-ithe. 😋

Rang a hAon were busy baking bread 🍞 and making butter 🧈 yesterday.

They measured, weighed, stirred and shook!!!

After all their hard work they were delighted to devour the delicious fruits of their labour. Yum!! 😋

Nach orainn a bhí an t-ádh nuair a thug Eve (Rang a 1) agus a cuid tuistí Erin & Gerard na gamhna óga isteach ar scoil.

How lucky were we to have newborn calves come to visit us in school…… 🐮🐮

Míle Buíochas to Eve (Rang a 1) and her parents Erin & Gerard for sharing this fantastic springtime experience with us. The calves weren’t even one day old….
And rumour has it that they’re reading & writing ever since!!! 📚 🖊️ 🐮🐮

Turas Stairiúil Rang a 6

Bhí lá den scoth ag Rang a 6 le déanaí nuair a thugadar aghaidh ar Iarsmalann an Ghorta i Sciobairín.

Rang a 6 thoroughly enjoyed their recent History field trip to Skibbereen Heritage Centre where they consolidated all they had learned about the Great Irish Famine.

Míle Buíochas to everyone at the centre for such an interactive and informative session. 🙏🏻

We continued to the historical Abbeystrewery Graveyard.

And on the way home, the mandatory cluiche peile 🏐🏐 to blow off any cobwebs!

Míle Buíochas as always to Clon GAA for giving us the use of their facilities on our homeward journey.
